IPSS (International Pharmacy Summer School) is a short-term educational activity organized by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Pharmacy Student Association in Indonesia in the field of Pharmacy and is also an event held annually by Active Students of the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta who aims to introduce the UMY pharmaceutical learning process to domestic and foreign students.

This year is the 9th time UMY Pharmacy will hold IPSS activities. The concept of activities that include formal and informal education as well as elements of tourism and learning Indonesian culture are also accommodated by the use of the summer school system. The entire series of IPSS aims to increase knowledge about existing Indonesian medicine, build participants’ awareness of the importance of applying knowledge in various cases of health problems, introduce tourism and Indonesian culture, and provide benefits to all parties involved in IPSS 2023.
